Humble Beginnings

Like many businesses before it, Computer Man Repair Service began as a dream- one that did not seem possible at first.

Founder and owner, Man, has lived in the Holland area since 1981. He has two daughters, Jeni and Christine.

A few years ago, at the college graduation ceremony of one of his daughters in Ann Arbor, Man decided to wear a suit with a yellowish-gold tie. Since then, he has been referred to as "the gold tie guy."

At that time, he still dreamed about how to best use his extensive computer skills dating back to the IBM mainframe era, both in college and in corporate environments. With encouragement from family and friends, Man started to help others with their computer problems.

Today, our humble beginnings are still evident in the the work that we do: from our friendly and personal service to the simple storefront and logo design- all of which serve to remind us that dreams do in fact come true.
